Legendary Shelter Survival Guide

Chapter 233 Training with the Boss monster! (1)

Lucas's steps were very loud and the creature on the four legs looked at his side.

Lucas got creeped out by the creepy amount of teeth in the creature's mouth.

But before he could reach any of the both, the skeleton stabbed the creature's eyes with his sword tearing it inside out in a single interaction.

Some whimpering around came from the creature as it tried to crouch down yet the skeleton just moved the sword up while still inside the creature making the sword come out from the head's side.

Lucas saw the creature become limp and fell to the ground. His perceptive eyes activated instinctively and what he saw drove him to step back for the first time in a while.

Lucas had already seen the chest which was perfectly normal under his eyes, it had no colors at all while the skeleton was as if made from the very darkness Lucas came to hate from the core of his being.

The same negative darkness that he could sense in that darkness inside the dungeon.

Lucas saw that there was a white light flashing from the ground which looked normal at first but with further concentration, he saw a circle that he had not gone through yet in front of him.

The chest was in the center of the circle while the skeleton was just beside it looking at Lucas with nothing but his dirty and old-looking skull. There was a green glow instead of an eyeball in his eye-socket hole.

The more Lucas looked at the creature, the more he started to hate it which in turn had an even more dangerous situation. He was excited again.

Just by looking at the creature, Lucas had the yearning to devour it. But of what to devour? He had no idea as the creature was fully made of bones and armor and nothing more.

'Hm?'

Lucas looked at the creature staring daggers at him yet it did not move forward. With how ferocious it was with the creature before, this time, it looked like it was not going to attack.

Lucas looked at the circle again, and then, his eyes flashed deactivating the skill. With excitement, he kept one of his feet inside the circle and the skeleton's leg moved a bit.

Lucas staring at the skeleton with a grin kept his other feet too, the Skeleton dashed forward at point blank and was going to cover the distance in seconds yet Lucas stepped back. When he was outside the circle, the skeleton stopped completely.

It looked at Lucas for a few seconds and then went back to where it came from.

Lucas looked back and saw Sarah looking at the situation dumbly.

"Sarah, shoot a fireball please."@@novelbin@@

Sarah got out of her trance and nodded, soon, a small ball of fire formed in her hand, Lucas looked at it bored thinking that she had been doing the same thing again and again all this time.

Some changes in the skill could have taken place until now, but the fireball skill was still very normal.

Sarah shot it and Lucas looked at the fireball travel a good amount and reach the skeleton only to be smacked by the sword's broad surface.

There was a small blast yet nothing happened to the skeleton at all.

"Sorry Lucas…"

"Don't worry, I just wanted to check something, now we know that it won't come out of the circle even after we attack it from this near. As long as we are not in the circle, it won't attack."

"Oh! But what circle? Where is it?"

"It started from here." Lucas showed her by making a line on the ground with his leather shoes.

"I will go and fight now, bye!"

Lucas dashed again making Sarah feel as if he had a habit of saying something and leaving without listening to another word.

Lucas was inside the circle and now the skeleton had started to come toward him too.

Its legs were long so getting to Lucas fast was easy.

When they were in close proximity, Lucas already had his two swords out, it was the first time Lucas was going to fight a creature that was proficient in a weapon that he was proficient in too.

It was exciting to think like this at least.

The skeleton without stopping swung its sword horizontally trying to split Lucas in half from the beginning.

Yet Lucas ducked, even he didn't realize he could do that this fast without getting hit.

Lucas was still in motion when he ducked so he moved his legs even then. He smacked the skeleton's left leg with his sword's hilt trying to get it to lose balance yet he realized something.

'It's so strong.' Lucas's hand stayed there for a second as he wasn't able to budge the feet at all. The skeleton had a good foot foundation, to say the least.

Till now, Lucas didn't know if it was intelligent or not but now he was sure. No creature could be this strong and witty without even a bit of intelligence.

Lucas made some distance to think about what his next steps would be. Yet the skeleton didn't give him any chance, it dashed again and jumped, its sword shifted downward while the hands were holding the hilt.

"SHIT!" Lucas dodged to the side in time, yet his shoulder got stabbed as some blood started pouring out.

The skeleton's sword went inside the ground halfway and while it took it out with one mighty force, Lucas took the time to punch the damn thing right at the cheekbone while still holding the sword.

The skeleton stumbled and was going to fall yet it just did a cartwheel at the end so as to just not fall on the ground. It went back on its feet and without any notice or care, went to try to kill Lucas yet again.

"Persistant Bastard!" Lucas shouted and used both his swords to stop the skeleton's swing.

He went on his knees while doing so getting to know tat even the strength of the skeleton was not joke.

"HAAAH!" Lucas made it step back with all the strength he could muster and started running to the side, his perceptive eyes activated and without stopping, he went outside the circle.
