Lucas couldn't help but frown at the events that have been transpiring since he came here.

While they were leaving the lobby, Lucas looked back and gave her a cheeky smile which made Mary stomp her foot on the ground.

"Sighh, when will you mature Mary" The man at the side of Mary said and went outside the workshop making Mary become even more irritated.

"Just wait, you all. I will show you what I am when I compete in the tournament..."

Lucas made his way up the stairs behind his master and they finally reached the main room.

Sam sat on his chair while looking at Lucas as if expecting him to say something.

"Sorry master, I didn't think you meant the morning. I was up all night, reading everything."

"And what is your progress?"

"I completed half of the book, it's quite big."

Lucas felt the emotions of bewilderment from his master.

'Did he think I won't be able to do even this much?'

"Show me what you learned right now, this is your first practical exam. Let's see, make an elixir of vigor right now. You have an hour to complete and taking reference from the texts is also allowed."

Lucas nodded in excitement and looked at all the equipment on the side, there were butt loads of equipment and ingredients, most of which Lucas did not even know how to use.

He kept the book on the chair at the side and went to look for things.

Sam was very amused by his actions and did not seem to stop looking at Lucas anytime soon.

'Let's see, for the elixir of vigor, I needed… starburst blossoms, starlight nectar… moonbeam Honey, Firebloom Essence, and clear dew… ugh, why did they name the ingredients with such unrealistic names…'

While looking at the instructions in the book again, Lucas found most of the ingredients within minutes as after seeing the colored photo and the description, it was quite easy.

The fact that everything was organized with precision also helped a lot.

All the tools he needed were already on a table as if they were the normal ones that were always being used.

'Oh shit, I might have not cleaned the containers if I did it without the book. It would have messed up the process…'

Lucas acknowledged the importance of the instruction in the book and with the help of them, he started completing his one step after another.

The other ingredients did not need to be grinded.

He mixed powdered Sunburst Blossoms, starlight nectar, moonbeam honey, and the essence of the firebloom all in a glass container that he cleaned properly in a metal sink.
