Chapter 138 Quest Completion

Milim stared at his outstretched hand, her expression unreadable. Slowly, she reached out and took it, her fingers trembling slightly. As Leon helped her to her feet, she nodded. "Very well. I will do as you say," she said softly, a small smile playing on her lips.

Leon gave a brief nod, his face calm, though his mind was racing. Hopefully, by that time, I'll have found that mythical-grade cleansing potion to remove the curse Angelica unknowingly put on me, he thought grimly, the memory of that incident flashing through his mind.

"By the way, these are my companions," Leon said, gesturing to the two nearby. "Roman and Roselia." He smiled faintly as he pointed at Roselia. "And Roselia here is my girlfriend. I also have another—her name's Angelica. She's an angel who resides on a higher floor, Floor 234 to be exact."

Milim turned her curious gaze toward Leon.

That's when one of the maids, the shorter one, couldn't hold her tongue. "What are you doing, collecting a harem of rare beauties?" she asked with a teasing smirk.

Before Leon could respond, Milim delivered a swift chop to the maid's head. "Forgive Naval," Milim said with a sigh. "She's an open-mouthed person."

Leon chuckled as Naval rubbed her head sheepishly.

"By the way, her name's Naval," Milim continued, pointing to the shorter maid with an impish grin. Then she gestured to the taller, calm-looking one, clad in black armor and gloves. "And she's Liliana."

Leon nodded, acknowledging the introductions.

"They've been my maids since I was alive," Milim explained. "Like me, they are vampires too. However, I am a Royal-class vampire, while they are Lord-class."

"Royal-class?" Leon asked curiously.

"Vampire hierarchy is simple," Milim said, holding up her hand as if counting the tiers. "It's Commoner, Noble, and Royal. The Noble class is further divided into many sub-stages. I'm a Royal, though after a million years of imprisonment and no nourishment, my strength has degraded to only Duke-class levels." She sighed wistfully, then shifted her tone to one of playful charm. "Which brings me to a request—can you give me a little of your blood?"

Leon hesitated for a moment. "Alright," he said finally, extending his hand.

But Milim didn't take his hand. Instead, she stepped closer, grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, and pulled him in. Without another word, she bit down gently on his neck.@@novelbin@@

Leon's eyes widened as a strange, euphoric sensation coursed through him, a mix of warmth and lightheadedness. Milim drank deeply, her crimson eyes glowing faintly as she replenished her strength.

A moment later, she released him, licking her lips with satisfaction.

"That was the most delicious blood I've ever tasted," Milim said, her voice carrying a note of surprise and delight. Explore more stories at My Virtual Library Empire

Naval, who had been watching with keen interest, smirked. "Surely, Miss, you're falling in love. You're drunk on the blood of someone with a Legendary-class level aura. How this human even belongs to that caliber is beyond me."

Before she could say more, Liliana delivered another chop to Naval's head.

Milim, now feeling her strength returning, although it was few percent but as long as she continue to drink his blood she felt she cannot only regain her strength but even advance in vampire ranks, smiled faintly as she turned to Leon. "Your blood... it's extraordinary. Truly. You must have a Mythical-class job. Without it, defeating the Slothful King would have been an impossible dream."

Leon simply nodded, brushing off her praise with a calm demeanor. "Let's move on," he said, his tone steady, though inwardly he felt slightly embarrassed.

Liliana watched him quietly, her gaze assessing yet respectful. Meanwhile, Naval grumbled under her breath, rubbing her head again. The group began preparing to leave, Milim now fully energized and determined, a new spark of life gleaming in her eyes.

Roselia glanced at Millim out of the corner of her eye, her lips pressing into a thin line. She didn't like how Millim kept staring at Leon with such intensity, but she said nothing. Roselia was familiar with Demon World customs, where powerful demons—whether male or female—often had multiple partners. She had long since accepted that reality. As long as Leon continued to cherish her and keep her by his side, she could tolerate whatever future companions he might gain.

Roman, on the other hand, remained silent, his expression as stoic as ever. To him, it was only natural that someone as powerful and charismatic as Leon would attract followers, especially one like Millim. A great leader naturally amassed a strong entourage. It didn't bother Roman in the slightest. Internally, he solidified his resolve. "No matter how many companions come to follow you, I will always be your number one sword and shield, Lord Leon," he thought, determination glinting in his eyes as he trailed behind the group.

The eerie silence of the sewer faded as they emerged into the sunlight, the last vestiges of the underground dungeon behind them. The guards at the entrance didn't even glance their way, too busy with their own affairs to notice a small group in disguises blending into the crowd.

Millim and her maids, initially cautious and hesitant, quickly adjusted to the bustling life above ground. They wore simple cloaks to conceal their identities, though Millim couldn't help but take in her surroundings with wide-eyed curiosity.

Leon led them to the Beginner City Tower Association, his mind focused on their next objective. It was time to report their success and hand over the remains of the True Skeleton King to the Alchemist King. As they arrived at the Tower Association's imposing structure, Leon stepped forward and then took the Quest of the Red Skeleton King dungeon.

Taking the Quest he went there with his team, one shotting the Red Skeleton King, he went behind the throne inside the Hidden room where the Alchemist King resides,

It was time to complete the theri long Quest. The Quest they got from the Alchemist king, which involved them reaching the limit level of 1st floor and then defeat the True Skeleton King and bring his remains here, finally they have done it.
