Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 293 Nasty Welcome

Kent sent the ladies away, leaving Selene in charge to handle the thousands of questions they would have. He also knew the shameless sword saintess was the right person that pollute the ladies.

The end game is to get them in the harem, and since his ladies are keen on making that happen, he can only let them handle it.

His focus now was on the visitors he was about to receive.

After he won the bid, he and Gaia had already started forming plans on how to counter the danger that would come to them.

The auction would last for three days, and if they were attacked on the first day, that would just be too bad.

He had to change that.

Who knows what would be sold on the second and third days that might cause these people to get any funny ideas?

So the plan was to ensure that after today, none of them would have any funny ideas.

He appeared inside the Tower shop, where Gaia was waiting for him with a list of things he would be buying.

"Are you sure this can even handle a Root Transcendent?" Kent asked.

[Yes, master. Though they wouldn't die inhaling it immediately, they wouldn't know they have been poisoned until it's too late. So today, whoever enters your room will have a nasty welcome.]

"That is good for me. I want them to start panicking by morning." Kent smiled easily and selected the colorless and odorless bone poison.

Just one vial cost 500,000 tower points, but it was guaranteed to kill even a Root Transcendent, so he didn't bat an eye, spending 2 million TP to buy four.

"How about the dummies?" Kent asked, and Gaia showed him a replica of Unity.

[Though it's not perfect, the dummy will be able to trick the eye into thinking she is the real one. All you have to do is ensure it is covered and cannot be easily figured out.]

"That is good too. So Unity, Lilian, Elsa, and Saintess Val will stay in one room. Gate Master Mara and Camilla will also be in another room, while Selene, Neomi, and Ingrid will have their own room.

I will also be in my room. This way, when the poison is administered, it will take over the four rooms. I am sure I will be getting some dead bodies today."

[The master can just sit and relax. This marker will imprint on the people, so even when they die outside your rooms, they will be teleported to the Necro-smith Forge.]

The plan was to get the dead bodies at the end of the day, so even if they managed to go back to their masters, the moment they died, their bodies would vanish into the NecroSmith Gorge.

"That is good for me. Now, let's set things up." Kent appeared inside the room and immediately started setting the stage for the welcome party he had prepared for the intruders.

His welcome ceremony was in the form of a nasty welcome.

After a few minutes, the stage was set, and he went back inside the tower to observe, thanks to Gaia giving him a third-person view.

Four hours after he set the stage, five people appeared inside the room and immediately took action. Three went after the ladies, while two went after Kent.

However, a few seconds later, four of them dropped dead, with the fifth trying to get away. But before he could do that, the battle doll appeared and stabbed him through the heart, killing him.

Kent smiled, feeling five bodies appear inside the Necrosmith Forge.

They were all Great Sages, so their resistance wasn't that high against the poison, which affected the bones first and slowly did all kinds of nasty things to them.

He waited, and an hour later, the goons from the Miller family appeared.

This made Kent wonder why a new set of people would choose to come, knowing they wouldn't be the other ones coming after him and his ladies this evening.

He knew for a fact that all these people trying to get the ore were aware they were racing against others, so why the hell did they have to appear when those who went in didn't come out?

He was sure they could sense each other and knew their are against a competition. So when one entered but didn't return, why didn't the second, third, and fourth go back?

Why not know this was a trap that must be avoided?

The answer to that question was simple: greed.

Greed can make one lose all sense of reason and do stupid things that have no benefit whatsoever to their lives.

Greed made the first group lose their lives, and greed will make more to die, for all those who enter the four rooms for the next couple of hours are bound to die.

Kent could only watch as five Root Great Sages and three Root Transcendents entered. A few seconds later, they came out looking pale.

The three Root Transcendents were visibly shaken, while the five Root Sages died instantly, not knowing what had happened.

As for the three, they tried to walk away. Well, two walked away simply because the doll ended one of them.

But 20 minutes later, he felt the two who got away appear inside his NecroSmith Forge, and that was when he sensed he had made a good harvest, even if the night didn't go as planned.

The first plan was to eat dinner with the ladies and then spend some time with them, as they had planned to keep him up all night.

But this was also good.

After the auction, if he wanted, he could use a part of the fragment, mixed with spirit stones and the dead bodies, to create undead.

He knew for a fact they would be somewhere between Root Great Sages and Root Transcendents in strength.

But this harvest was good. When day two came, he would buy all the items that could be used inside the Necro Forge.

He needed the undead for his missions, especially now that these people chose to deliver dead bodies to him.

A necromancer's favorite gift is a graveyard and dead bodies. In Kent's case, he was now getting the dead bodies handed to him on a silver platter.

Three more teams came, but none returned alive. Those who did couldn't live past 30 minutes. In the end, Kent got 25 Root Great Sages and 7 Root Transcendent bodies, and the rest was history.

He waited until there was only an hour left before the next day's auction before entering the Harem Gate.

That would give him a day inside to have a chat with the Gate Masters, who, in a way, felt touched that Kent chose to trust them with such a secret.

Their trust level moved to over 80%, something that, if there were a meter, would have shocked Kent. It was a simple gesture on one end. He even made them sign some silly papers.

But that had made him gain two powerful allies he could count on. Selene did a good job answering their questions to the best of her abilities.

As for the rude Saintess, she just wanted to stay in the Love Garden for the rest of her life.

The Everlasting Immortal Sword Sect could forget about ever getting their Saintess back. She had fallen quite fast.
