Among them was a small purple turtle, only a foot in length, with the word 'Mortal' on its forehead. It bobbed its head gently to the music.

This was the Bloodline Appraising Turtle, a creature many once believed possessed the ability to sense Bloodlines. But it was now seen as a defective Magical Beast that most people kept around as a pet.

Beside it, a tall, golden-furred Magical Beast known as the Skybound Caribou flicked its slender, silver-tipped antlers to the music.

Coiled around Lily's neck was a small, sleek, silver-scaled Mist Viper, who hissed in tune with the music, as if it was singing along.

Lastly, underneath the shade of a tree, a massive Stone Bear tapped its front paw against the ground in rhythm.

A bit further away, heads peaked from behind curtains as even the staff members were totally entranced by the music.

Some time ago, Carlton had tried to find fault with them but soon ended up joining them.

[Hello Mis-] But before the System could introduce itself, it was interrupted by a sharp, grating note, breaking everyone from their stupor.

"Who's there!" Lily stood up and shouted. "Show yourself."

Confusion clouded the minds of everyone present.

"Who is the masked old woman talking to?"

"Actually, she's not old. She's using a Skill or Artifact to change her voice."

"Oh, that's right, I almost forgot she's the wife of the God of Cooking."

"God of Cooking? Is that Lord Lucian's new nickname?"

As the staff whispered amongst themselves, Carlton hastily approached Lily.

"Young Miss, did you see someone?" He asked urgently, as he activated his Mana Sense. His senses spread out in all directions, sweeping the area within a hundred feet radius for any trace of an intruder.

But… other than the staff, Magical Beasts, himself, and the young miss, there was no one else.

Confused, Carlton searched again… but still found no one else. With that knowledge, he gently said, "There's no one here, Young Miss. Perhaps it was just-"

As Lily listened to Carlton, all of a sudden, the same mechanical voice sounded in her ears.

[Please calm down, Mistress. I am Lucian's friend.]

Lily's eyes widened at the voice in her head.

[Big Brother Lucian's friend? Why didn't you say so sooner!?]

At this point, even the staff and Magical Beasts realized something was wrong. As for what it was, they could not quite put their finger on it.

The Mist Viper uncoiled itself from Lily's neck and slithered toward the other Magical Beasts. Its tongue flicked as it hissed, apparently it was communicating with them.

On the other hand, the System continued, [Mistress, time is of the essence. Although you may not understand, with each second… no, with each nanosecond, five thousand nanoseconds go by where Lucian is currently.]

Lily blinked. Obviously, she was confused by what her Big Brother Lucian's friend had said, but she still understood the last part.

[Where's Big Brother Lucian!? Isn't he in his room!?] A worried expression appeared on her face, causing even more worry to Carlton.

'What happened? Why is Young Miss behaving strangely? Did someone really intrude on Master's property?'

[Okay.] Without a word more, Lily dashed past Cartlon, the Magical Beasts, and staff members. As she ran to her room, her voice echoed out:

Meanwhile, back in her assigned room, Lily asked while sitting on her bed, [Now, can you explain?] Now that she had time to think, she realized, according to the unknown mechanical voice her Big Brother Lucian was somewhere else. She continued, [And is Big Brother Lucian safe?]

[There's no need to be worried. He's safe. Currently, as we speak, he's progressing through his Trial to advance to the Blood Tempering Realm.]

Lily furrowed her brows while tilting her head.

[Big Brother Lucian is taking a Trial to advance to the Blood Tempering Realm? Isn't my Big Brother Lucian super strong? Why would he need to advance to the Blood Tempering Realm? Also, what is a Trial? And why does he have to take one to advance?]

[I understand you have many questions that require answers. But it would be better to let my Host, Lucian, answer them. As I said, time is of the essence. My Host wants to know if you want to join him in Chaos Haven World, where he's currently taking his Trial.]

Lily nodded her head repeatedly, as she agreed. [Yes. Lily wants to go where Big Brother Lucian is!]

There was no hesitation in her voice. Being with her Big Brother Lucian meant the world to her!

The System was not surprised by her response. It was as expected. In fact, had she refused, then it would have been shocking.

Even though it could predict her answer, the System still stated, [To join my Host on Chaos Haven World, your Mana Veins will be sealed.]

Lily's response was immediate. [If being with my Big Brother Lucian means Lily's Mana Veins are sealed, then so be it. Lily doesn't mind!]

[As expected.] The System muttered, then continued after a moment, [The transfer of your Soul will begin once my Host finds a vessel for your Soul to occupy. For now, remain in this room.]

[A vessel?] Lily tilted her head.

Meanwhile, back on Chaos Haven World, Lucian was still peacefully sleeping. His breathing was shallow, and his chest rose and fell slowly.

All of a sudden, the System's voice echoed in his ear, [Host, Lily agreed to the transmigration.]

Startled, Lucian slowly opened his eyes, then while rubbing his eyes, he responded, [I knew my Lily wouldn't let me down!]

[Host, I suddenly have an urge to vomit.] The System replied tiredly.@@novelbin@@

[Then scram out of my Soul.] Lucian cheekily grinned. [There are plenty of alleyways that you can use.]

After saying that, Lucian stood up and exited his room.
