Pei Buhan, and the others, who had been informed by the former of his sealed Mana Veins, had offered to accompany him, just in case he was attacked, but he refused.

Strolling through the bustling streets as if he were a tourist, Lucian imperceptibly gazed at the women.

Every few steps, a woman would catch his attention. As though he was observing an ingredient, he scrutinized them.

[Brown hair, brown eyes, a square face, hairy arms and legs. And what are those things? Melons under her shirt and pants? My Lily is still growing.]

Sitting on a park bench with a defeated expression, Lucian gazed up at the migrating birds.

Even after almost an hour, he was not able to satisfy even one of his conditions.

Following a sigh, Lucian felt a sudden heaviness on his shoulder. He looked over to see a small, robotic pigeon perched there, its beady, helpless-filled eyes fixed intently on him.

Obviously, the pigeon was none other than the System using the Celestium Shard's Transformation Skill.

[A Nine-Tailed Fox perched on your shoulders would be too conspicuous, practically asking for death. Therefore, this form is more suitable.] The System explained.

Lucian agreed with that statement, finding the System's decision to be well-thought-out.

[So, why did you come out now?] Lucian asked, even though he understood the System's intentions.

The System snorted.

[Isn't that obvious? Now, stand up. We have a body to find.]

This time it was Lucian's turn to sigh as he reluctantly stood up and left the park.

[Where to?]

[Shh.] The System shushed him as it looked around in its pigeon form. [Just keep walking around as if you're a tourist.]

Shrugging, Lucian did just that. He had no faith in the System being able to find him a perfect body. It was not that he did not trust the System, more so, no vessel would be suitable for his Lily.

Meanwhile, the System kept looking around. As a bird, it could look at women without them being creeped out. A perk that its Host did not have.

Soon, the System spotted a young lady about the same physical age as Lily. Brown curls fell down her shoulders. She had large, bright green eyes, a small, cute nose, and delicate pink lips.

Finding her suitable, the System nudged its beak against its Host's cheek to force his face in her direction. Then, it asked, [What about her, Host?]

Lucian gave her a look and snorted, [My Lily's eyes have a much brighter sparkle. Her skin is whiter, smoother, even-toned, and flawless. Her smile is a contagious, heart-fluttering smile that lights up everything around her. And-]

The System interrupted him.

[Fine. Fine. Keep moving.]

As Lucian continued to walk, the System soon spotted a young woman through the window of a bakery. She had raven-black hair that fell to her waist and a gentle smile that looked genuine.

[What about her?] The System nudged Lucian with its beak in her direction, but its voice was not as confident as before.

Lucian glanced at the woman in the bakery and shook his head.

[My Isabella's black hair is glossier, thicker… this girl isn't even worthy to breathe the same air as her.]

[Why are you bringing Isabella up!?] The System ground its teeth before stomping its foot on its Host's shoulders, eliciting a grunt, and then it vanished. [I'm done! It's like trying to talk to a rock. Find a suitable vessel yourself!]

Smiling bitterly, Lucian decided it was time to return to his suite.

After navigating the streets back to the Alabaster Hotel, Lucian went straight to his suite.

Upon opening the door, he was greeted with the sight of four men kneeling with their heads lowered.

"How long have you four been kneeling for?" Lucian asked as he entered the suite.

For a moment, there was only silence, until it was broken by Bai Shishi, "Master, it has only been approximately five minutes."

Lucian shook his head.

"Rise and… go do something else."

Bai Shishi continued, "Master, if you don't mind me asking, where did you go? In your current condition, it's better to remain inside."

Lucian glanced at him and then at the others, noticing their eager expressions, he began explaining where he went and why.
