"Well, you have to know everything that will help you later on to causing problems, which help you some serious issues you may regret later," Veylen said as he started to explain.

"So, you know that we are cursed not to break the balance in the world, but you didn't know what this curse is. It's something even worse than death or feeling pain every second. We're cursed to live alone from start to end. We all have someone we love from the beginning, but because of this curse, have to leave them alone in the world, even if it causes them pain and suffering. However, it won't last long as time mend the wounds easily, as those who try be with us only get eternal suffering and nothing else.
What we are cursed with is also our strength, which can help us greatly in fighting the enemy, but even our loved ones are affected by it. The curse we all are suffering from is called ≪Nirzveil's Covenant≫. It's actually a half curse and half blessing for us. This cursed blessing has six characteristics, are half blessing and half curse. They consist of: <Singularity of Darkness>, <Darkness Transmutation>, <Eclipsed Soul>, <Evernight's Domain>, <Unfathomable Presence>, and <Inescapable Path>."

<Singularity of Darkness>, the first characteristic of the curse, transforms whatever you possess before becoming a member into the Darkness path. Every affinity you had before joining the family becomes a Darkness-aligned element, exhibiting traits like fracture, corrosion, or shattering. Each member has unique elements; for instance, my fire element turned into abyssal fire, my light element became the light of Corruption, and my strongest element, ice, transformed into the never-before-seen Ice of Void. I am curious to see what will emerge from your elements.

Second, <Darkness Transmutation>, everything you come into contact will become corrupted by Darkness. Every single thing you hold will be corrupted, including living. Your loved ones will also be affected by this mutation, whether you wish it or not.

Third, <Eclipsed Soul

Fourth, <Evernight's Domain>, a pure blessing, increases the attack or defense power of whatever we are using while we are in the veil of darkness, which we always are.

Fifth, <Unfathomable Presence>, a characteristic that made me and other members of our family a major target of the opposite gender, as while being cursed, all beings' charm value towards us increases to the peak, if they see our face or even an ounce of it. Even my closest ones were affected and died because of it, as the urge to touch our face increased in their hearts, and like a trap, they got affected by the corruption curse by us. This made us feel more guilty, as it gave us a true example of beauty that can shuffle all the land by itself destroying everything close to us. While the other effect was off the aura enchantment which made us quite a hard opponent to deal with.

Sixth, <Inescapable Path>, while being a characteristic, it is more like a curse trait for us. Gaining so much power is enough, but do you think escaping after gaining so much power is easy with death? That's when this characteristic comes into play after our death. Our souls are trapped in the Darkness for eternity until one of the members frees us from it. All the generations who have died are already there, even I am not exempt as I may already be in it. This mere projection here is just a small shard left by the will to guide you on the true path. I was shocked to see such a level of fondness the will has for you, to leave my little will here, for which I am grateful.

So, it is my duty to serve under the will and guide you on a path to achieve the freedom we are waiting for."

Veylen, after completing the whole curse ritual info, was waiting for Rey's expression, hoping it would give him some will and thought to help them.

"Okay, so this is just a common thing here, like in novels, where the main character gets a curse that also helps, like me here. But the thing is that I am bound to it without any birthright. So..." Rey, who was talking to himself, was now sputtering some random nonsense, which even he did not realize he was saying.

"Oi... Oi... Oi, to your senses, you novel fanatic!" Aiden shouted in Rey's ears, snapping him out of his thoughts. He looked around to see everyone staring at him with strange eyes.

"Wait, what happened just now? Why you all are looking at me like that?" he asked, as Aiden and the others sighed and said nothing about his foolishness.

"So, I was thinking that now I am in such a strange, untold crisis of being a robot human like you. So... take it out." He extended his hand towards Veylen, who was confused by this.

"What..."

"The things I am going to get, right? You are going to give me some items to become powerful, right? Some end-time op items or things," he said with a clear extorting expression.

"Hmm... you are such a cheap guy with such normal face aren't you. Even though I know you are going to get my help to get strong, asking too much is not possible..."

"So, I am not going to get anything Ah, that's not good."

"Yes, you won't be getting anything except those things," Veylen said as he snapped his fingers. They all disappeared from one place and instantly appeared in another place within Rey's body.

"Where are we? Are we still inside my body?" Rey asked in shock as he found a room similar to the previous one but in a nonagon shape with nine sides and nothing there.

"Look above; the real thing is hidden up there," Veylen pointed upward as all four looked in the direction he indicated, and Rey's mouth opened to its limit upon seeing what was above.

"How the hell is these things doing in my body."
