Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 676: 675: Nine Colours; Three Visions

After surviving the second Tribulation of Hell, one of the rewards he got was the skill called Eyes of Truth and Judgment.

When Corey obtained the skill, he barely knew anything about the skill. He had rudimentary information on the abilities of the Eyes of Truth and Judgment.

When he first got the Eyes of Truth and Judgement, he learnt that most of its abilities were somewhat similar to his Eyes of Omniscience and even his Tri-Pupil Eyes.

He could see glimpses of the future with it, the weaknesses of anything, see through deceptions, and also know the best possible outcome for his actions.

His Eyes of Truth and Judgment could do all of these, and it could also allow him to see the True Path.

Corey had no idea what the True Path meant in the past and even now, he was not fully certain about its meaning.

However, after he assigned more than ten Stars of Consciousness to figure out the capabilities of his Eyes of Truth and Judgment, his knowledge and proficiency with the skill drastically increased and he realized that the rewards from surviving and thriving in a Tribulation of Hell could not be underestimated.

With Corey's current knowledge and proficiency with the skill, he knew that the Eyes of Truth and Judgement was a skill that used a color-based spectrum.

The Eye of Truth and Judgement could show him nine different colours which he decided to call 'Paths' for now. The colours were related to the seven colours of a rainbow and two other colours- black and gold.

If Corey activated his Eyes of Truth and Nightmare and he saw somebody or something that's covered in a red hue, the person or thing is either a threat or hostile to him. Also, deeper the red, the more lethal the threat.

The next colour on the spectrum is Orange, and this ability of the Eyes of Truth and Judgement was one that he was certain would serve him till he reached the peak of power.

If he was having a conversation with somebody while he was using his Eyes of Truth and Judgement, and the person's emits an orange hue, it either meant that the person was trying to lie, deceive him, or manipulate his mind.

If an environment or object was covered in an orange hue, that meant that what he was seeing was false or an illusion.

The next colour is Yellow, and this colour is related to the weakness of an object or a person.

With his current capabilities, he could only use this ability to see a structural and physical weakness. However, he had a feeling that once his proficiency was high enough, he would be able to see the psychological vulnerabilities, shaky believes, and emotional scar of an individual.

After Yellow, the next colour on the spectrum is Green, and ability of this colour is the opposite of Orange. Anybody that emitted a green hue showed that the person was telling the truth and his/her emotions were real.

The next colour on the spectrum is Blue, and this ability made Corey's mind to come up with a lot of thoughts when he figured out this ability.

He could see the potential of a person or object, and a stronger hue indicated a higher growth potential.

Funny enough, he obtained this ability on his way to the auction hall, and he practiced a few times with it.

This ability would be extremely useful for him if he desired to create a force, but for now, he had no desire to have an organization beneath him.

After Blue, the next colour is Indigo. An indigo hue represented a person's mental resilience, will, and the power of their soul.

The stronger the hue, the stronger the mind of the individual.

Violet.

The Violet colour of the Eyes of Truth and Judgement represented the strings of fate. With his Eyes of Truth and Judgement, he was able to know who was connected to who, and in the future, he had a feeling that he would be able to know how they were connected.

The last two colours were the aspects of the abilities of the Eyes of Truth and Judgement he was still struggling with.

Black.

The black colour of the Eyes of Truth and Judgement meant death.

From what he was able to learn through his Stars of Consciousness, his Perceptual Nexus Repository, and its simulation room, anything, anybody, or any environment that's covered in a black hue indicated that the person or thing was so dangerous to the point that death would literally begin breathing down his neck.

There was still a lot more he needed to know about this colour of the Eyes of Truth and Judgement, and with every second that passed, he was always working on the skill.

The last colour, Gold.

When it came to this colour, Corey was not sure, but he had a feeling that Gold represented the best path for him.

Anything or anybody that was covered in a golden hue meant that the person, object, or location was extremely beneficial to him.

Apart from all of these abilities, Corey could still see glimpses of the future with his Eyes of Truth and Judgement, however, this particular ability was sporadic and uncontrollable.

----

As Corey sat in front of Divine who was about to talk, he suddenly saw three visions that flashed in his eyes and mind in less than a second.

In one of the visions, Corey saw himself telling Divine the truth at this moment.

He saw Divine's expression and he saw Divine's lips move, but he could strangely not read his lips and neither could he hear the words that Divine spoke or even the words he spoke.

He just knew what the vision was about.

Although he could not hear anything, what he could see and what caught his attention were the colours that surrounded Divine after he told him the truth.

He saw a golden hue, green hue, a shaky indigo hue, and a red hue surrounding Divine's body.

Corey's eyes was on the red hue and he could see how thick it was, meaning that Divine at that moment was a big threat to him.

In the second vision, he saw himself not telling Divine anything but after leaving the Underworld, he successfully killed Divine without anybody knowing.

However, the moment he killed Divine, a dense black hue surrounded his body and he subconsciously knew what the black hue was signifying.

He was going to face certain death in the future or a situation so dangerous that he would brush with death in the same closet.

The last vision was of him not telling Divine the truth at all even after they successfully escaped the Underworld.

What Corey saw as a result of this was a small but concentrated black hue on his back, and he also knew what this meant.

He would most likely die by getting stabbed in the back or by betrayal or by an unsuspecting attack.

All of these visions lasted for barely a second but Corey's calming mind became in chaos once again, and he could not help but cover his face and sigh out loud with a frustrated expression.
