Chapter 357 The demon kings
The doors opened, revealing a very large circular room. The room was illuminated by a large crystal at the center, and there were fourteen chairs with certain figures seated on them.
Immediately after Elaine answered, Lilith yelled her name and flew to her immediately with her fairy wings. Lilith was a beautiful young girl. She had silky white hair and completely silver eyes.
Her skin was pale and looked very delicate. She was dressed in a white dress, giving her an angelic look. Lilith immediately hugged Elaine tightly.
"What's with so much affection?" Elaine said.
"Nothing much, everyone here is just arguing, mostly Velora. She is the one at the front of it all," Lilith said.
"What are you saying, Lilith?" A voice sounded behind Lilith. Lilith squealed and flew to the back of Elaine. Standing in front of Elaine was none other than Velora.
She had blood-red hair and eyes that matched her blood-red gown with black accessories. Her skin was as white as paper, like there was no blood at all. She stared at Elaine with cold eyes and then spoke.
"If it isn't the cause of the whole issue," Velora said.
"Don't try to pin anything on me, Velora. If it was so easy, you could have gone and done it yourself," Elaine said.
"If I had been the one there, I would have dragged that boy out and brought him back here," Velora said.
"Because you think it's so easy? You don't even know Silva and what he can be like, but I can assure you that even if I wanted to drag him, I wouldn't be able to do it myself," Elaine said.

"That's crap. You just don't want to do it. You are of the rarest and strongest race, and you are a demon king. What do you mean you couldn't pull a demon king candidate?" Velora asked.
"Ladies, ladies, let's not get heated up. We have a meeting to start. Everyone is here now, so let's get that started."
A slim-looking man came to their side and spoke. He had a very nice black knee-length jacket on, with subtle red designs.
His hair was black, and his eyes were black, but with a slight reddish glow inside. As he spoke, both women stopped and looked at him.
"Fine, I'll sit, but that's because of you, Daegon," Velora said.
"Much appreciated," Daegon said and gave a slight bow. Velora walked away without saying anything more.
Daegon turned his attention to Elaine and greeted her with a smile. "It's nice to see you, Elaine," Daegon said.
"It's been a while. It's nice to see you, Daegon. How's life been handling the dragons?" Elaine asked.
"Same old. They are busy trying to start wars. I've not really been involved in their issues; it would be unfair," Daegon said.
"I guess that's true. Let's head in for the meeting. We have a lot to talk about, I'm guessing," Elaine said.
"Indeed, we have," Daegon said and walked in as well. Lilith came out from behind Elaine and skipped to her seat.
Elaine also walked in. The chairs were set in a circular formation. She walked in and sat down. All the other demon kings were seated already.
There was the leader and the strongest demon king, Daemon, whom Elaine had met. He was the dragon demon king, a very powerful red dragon.
He was well known for his flames that could melt anything and his speed that allowed him to traverse far distances in mere instants. His nature was calm and collected, but when he transformed and got into fighting, he was extremely terrifying.
The second was a beautiful lady with fiery red hair and eyes. She was Sepharis, the Phoenix, one of the rarest races, even rarer than the Fenryr.
It was not that the Phoenixes were few in number, but they hid away so well that people could never see them.
Sepharis had a calm look on her face. She emanated a warm energy that made people around her feel comfortable. But behind all that was the Undying Queen with unquenchable flames.@@novelbin@@
She was known to get stronger after every death she faced. She would rise again and come back stronger.
Then there was the third strongest demon king, Elaine, the Fenryr. She was the most social of the demon kings, and so she was the one that went out more.
The fact that she could see the fate lines and know what would happen to people made her a terrifying figure to deal with.
Elaine was the leader of the Fenryr, as their race stated that the strongest were the rulers. Though she never did anything in her race, she delegated her rulership to others.
Then there was Velora, the blood-sucking vampire queen, the strongest immortal vampire, an offspring of the earliest vampires.
She was cold and detached, but underneath that, she was caring and a really wonderful person, though she hated humans with a hate so great that none of the other demon kings could understand.
She was known for a special type of magic—blood magic. Her manipulation of blood was extremely scary. She could evaporate the blood of entire cities, killing everyone inside.
Just like the Phoenixes, she and the Vampire race were well hidden, not allowing people to get in easily.
Those were the top four strongest demon kings of the total fourteen, and after Velora was Lilith, the master of chaos, reality, and the strongest mage.
Lilith was only the fifth strongest because of her reluctance to actually fight or go all out. Her strength was rumored to be the same, if not more, than Daegon's, especially her curse.
But for some reason, she would never actually use her real strength. She always held back. No matter how hard it got, she would never allow her real power to show.
She was the ray of sunshine amongst the demon kings, and because of that, the demon kings protected her like an egg.
What do you think?
