Because of the incident in the forest, Liam requested an emergency meeting. He summoned the guardian warriors in the hall, gathering everyone who could join the mission.

"We are supposed to embark on a journey to rescue the captive healers. However, something happened to Cassie. We need to change our initial plan." Liam informed everyone.

"What happened to her?" One elder asked Liam curiously.

"An unknown enemy possessed her body, locking her soul in her subconscious. We are going to exorcize her and expel the soul of the enemy from her body but she fled." Liam was saddened when he delivered that bad news.

"This is not good. What if she was possessed by the opposing faction? This means our hideout has been compromised. This is serious. They might launch an attack soon!" Another elder expressed his concern.

"That's the reason we are gathered here. To do countermeasures," Shino finally spoke up.

"How many elite fighters do we have left?" Liam asked them.

"Thirty elite fighters. But if the entire elites of the opposing factions launch an all-out attack, we are outnumbered. They have stronger fighters than us. Our only advantage is our healing capability." Justine was disheartened. Cassie's disappearance was a great loss for them.

"We have to postpone the rescue mission. We should strengthen our defense first," Eric suggested to the group.

"I agree!" The other healers shared their thoughts about the tricky situation.

In the middle of the discussion, Flint also spoke up, telling them his plan. "I'll go and search for Cassie! We need to find her before it's too late."

"Sigh. We lack manpower. We can't dispatch our elite team to search for her. And it's dangerous because she is being possessed. Cassie is more powerful than us. She might kill us." The elder emphasized the threat of Cassie to them.

"I'm fine with it. I will bring Scarlet with me. You don't have to accompany me." Flint was so determined to find Cassie.

"Let me join you, Flint. I want to find my niece. She's in danger," Ella volunteered. She couldn't stay there doing nothing.

"I'll join you." Liam wanted to search for Cassie as well.

The other guardian warriors were against Liam's decision. "Liam. You can't leave us. We need you to protect and defend this base." The elder opposed Liam's decision.

"If Calec and Mheera join the attack, we will be annihilated."

They were still discussing when Scarlet finally arrived.

"Where is my master?" Scarlet showed up in the meeting hall, searching for Cassie. She didn't find her in the forest. Furthermore, she couldn't contact her through their mind link.

Flint approached the firefox, looking apologetic. "Forgive me, Scarlet. I failed to protect her. Cassie was possessed by an unknown enemy. When we were about to capture her, she fled."

Scarlet was taken aback when she heard that. She knew that something was strange about her master. But she didn't expect that she was possessed.

"No! We have to find her. No wonder she is not responding to my call. Our mind link has been disconnected and I can't track her location. I'm useless. I failed to detect the enemy in her body." Scarlet started blaming herself.

"Don't blame yourself, Scarlet." Liam approached her.

"Scarlet and I will go together. Liam, you should stay here to support your fellow guardian warriors. Ella, you can't join us. It's dangerous. This place is safer." Flint didn't allow Ella to join them.

"I can order the giant spider to stay here and protect the hideout." Scarlet offered some help. "This is part of my master's initial plan."

"Thank you, Scarlet. We appreciate that." Shino expressed his gratitude. Despite the disappearance of Cassie, Scarlet was still thinking of protecting their barracks.

"Unfortunately, we can't provide you with more manpower…" Shino apologized to her.

"I understand. You must ensure the safety of everyone here. And I believe that my master will be able to overcome this. She will return to her usual self. And I will make it possible!" Scarlet blurted out with conviction.

Liam was about to say something when he sensed a powerful aura drawing near their location.

"Everyone, prepare yourselves. We have incoming visitors... I sense their formidable presence," Liam announced, his expression turning grave.

"What? The enemies are here already?!" Panic could be seen in their eyes.

"Don't worry. They can't enter. I surrounded our hideout with a strong barrier, preventing intruders!" Liam reassured them.

"Let's move. Go with your respective positions." He instructed them.

"Healers, stay in here and cast the protection spell to strengthen the barriers. The elite fighters should follow me. I can feel their presence on the northern side. Shino, you must stay with the healers." After giving his instructions, Liam left the meeting hall to greet the incoming people.

Eric, Justine, and Flint accompanied Liam together with their remaining elite fighters. Scarlet followed them behind. They were walking out of the barracks when Scarlet felt the familiar aura.

'Wait… why am I feeling their auras… don't tell me Famo and Miho are also here?' Scarlet's eyes sparkled in anticipation.

Sensing the other fire dragon's aura, Scarlet suddenly dashed in the direction where she felt their presence.

"Scarlet! Wait! Where are you going?" Flint asked her, wondering why Scarlet suddenly ran in the direction of the incoming enemies.

"Let's follow her!" Liam said and he began running to chase after Scarlet. He could sense the urgency in Scarlet's action.

"Did she sense danger?" Justine asked them skeptically.

"We will see!" Eric just shrugged his shoulders.

It did not take long before they finally reached the entrance of the barracks. The intruders couldn't enter because of the barrier so they saw five figures standing outside the boundary.

Scarlet stood frozen in her spot as she gazed at them. Soon, Liam and Flint joined her to identify the newcomers.

"Master Zhen-Zhen! Master Tristan! Young Master Christian!!!" Scarlet's voice echoed through the night.

"Hi, Scarlet! How are you? Long time no see?!" FaMo greeted her cheerfully.

"We are glad to see you!" Zhen-Zhen spoke up, smiling at Scarlet.

Liam and Flint were utterly surprised when they recognized Zhen-Zhen and Tristan.

"They've come," Flint mumbled in awe.

Eric and Justine exchanged glances with one another. They didn't know Tristan and Zhen-Zhen's faces so they failed to recognize them.

"Who are they, Flint?" Justine asked him curiously.

"She's the demon god's daughter… Zhen-Zhen," Liam mumbled, joy flickering in his eyes.

Justine: "..."

Eric: "..."

"She's here!"

"Liam! Is that you?!" Both Zhen-Zhen and Tristan called Liam with surprise.
