The Male Leads Are Trapped in My House

Chapter 256

Harrison and Ethan, who had been fussing over me, soon discovered Aurora and became even more shocked.

However, the one among us with the most medical knowledge, Ezra, showed no intention of checking on Aurora’s condition. He remained by my side as if it didn’t concern him in the slightest.

The others, seemingly just as disinterested in asking Ezra for help, decided to take care of Aurora themselves.

Fortunately, Harrison had at least some medical knowledge, which was a relief.

Theodore and Ethan, looking pale, were also tending to Aurora beside Harrison. I watched the scene unfold before turning a sharp glare toward Ezra.

“You should go help too. You’re the expert. Wasn’t the Lancaster lady someone important to you?”

“She’s not in bad enough condition for all that fuss. She’s fine.”

Ezra answered firmly.

I was still worried, but if Ezra said she was fine, then she probably was. That thought reassured me a little.@@novelbin@@

“What do you think happened? The Lancaster lady just absorbed the spring water into her body.”

“It’s fucked.”

“That wasn’t exactly the question I asked.”

“Well, you’re a picky little brat.”

Ezra shrugged as he spoke and finally took a closer look at Aurora.

Just then, Theodore, who was holding her, let out a sigh of relief. There didn’t seem to be anything wrong with her.

“It looks like the spring water has hidden itself inside Segrave’s body. It must have sensed a threat.”

It hid inside her body? Because it felt threatened?

Could it be because I said earlier that we should get rid of the spring water?

“That’s what’s strange to me. The spring water, supposedly the source of all things, feeling threatened? Even so, Sinclair, even if this situation is caused by the spring water, you can’t get rid of it. Do you not remember what I told you? If the spring dries up, we all die.”

I turned to look directly at Ezra.
