I shared everything I had learned through the spring water—the flow of the future, the fragments of visions I had seen.

I explained everything that had happened to me in as much detail as possible.

However, there were two things I deliberately left out until the very end.

The others seemed utterly shocked to learn that Segrave, a figure they had believed to exist only in legend, was real. And even more so when they realized that Aurora had completely absorbed the spring water into her body.

“My biological father… was the head of Segrave…”

Aurora had been repeating that phrase over and over since she learned the truth about her origins.

The unfortunate part was that even though she now knew the facts, it hadn’t brought back any of her lost memories.

Since there was no more useful information to gain from her, I turned to Ezra next.

“Shocking Aurora back into remembering doesn’t seem like an option. What do you think? Is it safe for her to keep the spring water inside her body? I figure you’d know better than me.”

Ezra, who had been pointedly ignoring me, finally met my gaze.

He looked at me, then at Aurora, then at Ethan, his expression unreadable.

Finally, he sighed.

“Even though we both have the spring water inside us, we’re just carriers. Segrave isn’t. That means she can hold it without it causing harm. At least, that’s what I assume. She’s born from the spring, after all.”

So even Ezra wasn’t entirely certain.

“It’d be best to keep monitoring her and researching it. Who knows, this might even help in developing a cure.”

Ezra gestured toward Aurora as he spoke.

The mention of a cure made me pause.

I looked at Ezra, considering something, then asked,
