The Male Leads Are Trapped in My House

Chapter 258

"Cough, cough… Miss Cherry. What on earth are you…?"

Ethan’s sudden embarrassment felt unfamiliar. His flushed cheeks and averted gaze didn’t suit him at all.

I had thought I’d never get to see that expression in my lifetime. But now that I had, it made me want to tease him.

"Let’s kiss."

"Right here? In this situation?"

He had a point. This wasn’t exactly the time or place. I knew that. I had only said it to see his reaction, but honestly, the idea of actually doing it wasn’t all that bad.

Yes, I was absolutely letting my personal feelings get involved.

"So what you're saying is, if the situation were different, you'd be fine with it?"

"Miss Cherry, if you set your mind to it, I wouldn't be able to refuse anyway. How could I possibly resist your strength?"@@novelbin@@

Ethan sighed in resignation and pulled his jacket tighter around himself. He looked like a helpless, delicate heroine straight out of a romance comic.

"So you’ll allow the kiss, but not accept my feelings? I really don’t get what your problem is."

I took a step closer to him, grabbed the collar of his jacket, and pulled him toward me.

Our eyes met—his brilliant blue ones widened in surprise. My gaze slowly drifted down, tracing the sharp line of his nose, then lower, toward his lips, and down the curve of his neck.

"Then how far would I have to go for you to accept my feelings?"

I raised my eyes again to meet his. Ethan’s gaze was trembling violently.

"Ch-Cherry? No… Cherry."

Ethan swallowed hard, gripping my hand that still clutched his collar.

"Get a hold of yourself, Cherry."

That… sounded awfully familiar.

Hadn’t I said the exact same thing to him before?
